Founded and established in 1952 by Ernest B. and Olivia M. Weyer, Weyer Electric
continues as an Electrical
Contracting firm. The company offers a diverse and complete line of electrical products, services, and installations. On a daily basis, Weyer Electric operates within an eighty-mile radius of Ferdinand, Indiana. Some of our major projects within the area include West Baden Springs Hotel, Jasper Middle School, Vincennes Clark Middle School, The Pete Dye Golf Course at French Lick, and Holiday World and Splashing Safari in Santa Claus, Indiana.
The present-day company is owned, operated, and controlled by the five sons and two grandsons of Ernest and Olivia. The fabric of Weyer Electric, since its founding in 1952, is woven and anchored on: teamwork; productivity; performance; responsiveness; knowledge; honesty; respect; diversity; and adaptability. These commitments have provided a solid foundation and a steady growth pattern.

We continue to strive to be on the cutting edge on educating our employees. Whether it by through our federally accredited apprenticeship program, OSHA safety training, or our continuing education program, Weyer Electric makes sure its employees are up to date with all the current codes or regulations required throughout the industry.
